Content Creation and Curation

We use social media to promote our own content AND interesting 3rd party content, so please follow us on your platform of choice, using either the icons at the top of the page or from the list below. By sharing viewpoints beyond our own, we give readers a 360-degree view of issues, often commenting with our own perspective to further the discussion and understanding.

Where we get our information

Several hours a day are spent reading and responding to 3rd party articles and posting what’s interesting on our social media accounts, but we’re often asked about where we find this stuff. Much of it comes from newsletters we subscribe to, so consider subscribing to ours with the simple sign-up at right in the sidebar. We also use Google Alerts to track specific keywords. But most of what we find is from the people we follow on Twitter, with articles they find interesting showing up each morning on Flipboard. Everything is presented in a consistent and attractive format.

SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS

Twitter (@mhealthtalk) – Our realtime twitter feed is shown at right in the sidebar, mostly with links pointing to our articles and theirs.

Facebook (facebook.com/mHealthTalk) – Our Facebook timeline is also shown at the right in the sidebar, and rather than just links to articles, it includes our added comments.

Google+ (click here) – We usually post the same thing on Google Plus as on Facebook.

LinkedIn (linkedin.com/in/waynecaswell) – I sometimes post on post articles on LinkedIn, but they’re mostly about my other interest areas, including Big Broadband and Smart Home technology.

Flipboard (flipboard.com/@mhealthtalk) – Flipboard is a great place to curate and share content and is my Go-To reading source each morning. I highly recommend it and have even produced these flipboards, which you can subscribe to:

Intelligent Sleep (IntelligentSleep.com) – Because of the direct connections between sleep and health and our work with this startup, we often post to their social media sites too, including Twitter, Facebook, and Google+, and they reference clients to our growing collection of related Infographics on Pinterest.

Wayne Caswell (LinkedIn.com/in/waynecaswell) – The Founder & Senior Editor also posts to his own Twitter and Facebook accounts about healthcare and his other interests, including Big Broadband and the Connected Home.
